John,
I read The Harvest, sent your other book home so I could read it after deployment. I loved the book and the realism of the plot. It tied all the loose ends together and made perfect sense. It leaves one feeling that they should take a hard look at their life NOW...and perhaps we all should. Thanks for taking the time to talk with me and keep me posted when your next book comes out. I want a First Edition for my shelf.
Best Wishes

Dear Mr. Krygelski, I have just finished reading The Harvest. What a read! I thought you had some wonderful ideas on the relationship between God and Man. Unless I misinterpreted your writing, I also believe that science and religion can be combined. Being an active Christian with an interest in science, it has always been a struggle not to question the hows or whys of life. Your theories made sense to me. I can't say I understood it all, like the physics part of your theory, but I got the gist of it!
I would like to know how you came up with the idea for writing this book. Are you a Christian that has a background in science, or, did you do a lot of reseach into the various scientific disciplines?
Please, if you could, write me back. I have never written to any author and would be very happy to hear from you. Now I just need to have my husband read your book so that I can discuss some of my thoughts with him! Thanks for my newest page turner!
Blessings,

John, What a pleasure to meet you at Fort Bliss, TX, shortly after the “big freeze.” Just finished reading The Harvest. Wow! What an engaging tale...seemingly pulled out of today's headlines. You certainly nailed each perspective and the motivations behind them.
Getting ready to start Time Cursor this evening and will be anxiously awaiting your next novel.
Thanks again for the great story.

Hi John!
I just finished reading the Time Cursor. It was a fascinating read! Once started, I couldn’t stop. My friend, Susie loaned it to me. You had autographed it in April of this year.
You must have spent decades thinking the concepts through, and being able to get it across in this story is just amazing. I had to stop many times just to absorb and ponder what you wrote.
When I was getting near the end of The Time Cursor, I was thinking this is great science fiction...or is it not fiction?
Enjoyed your concepts and how you tied everything up in a believeable read. During a facebook posting about books and e-readers, I made the comment on how the printed book felt in my hands and that I might learn to read...and you posted about how your two books felt in your hands. NOW I understand what you meant.

ps. Loved the story taking place in Tucson and all the local references! Especially Lucky Wishbone!!! You described it perfectly.

John,
I just finished the Time Cursor yesterday. LOVED it! I'm not a big sci-fi person but that was an easy read and didn't go too far into another dimension. Great characters and it kept me wondering how they were going to get everything straightened out. Loved the way you stuck the “alien” in there to clear the fog and play cosmic adjuster when things went “south”. So, when is the third book coming out? Of course I'll want another signed eddition...name correction optional. It makes for a better story on my end. :-)
Take Care

new author, new publisher, finishing it within the year it was published (barely!)

Time travel is difficult. Difficult to write about, read about, think about, etc.

But oh so fun when it’s done right!

I met Mr. Krygelski when I wandered into a now-defunct, once-popular large book store chain to meet a friend for knitting. A man in a cool hat was by the entrance next to a table full of books. He was very nice and asked me if I wanted to hear about his new book. (I was impressed because he wasn't pushy) I said sure! He told me it was about a man who meets his future self the night before his wedding, and the events that occur afterward because of it. It's hard not to say too much…so much happens in this story! I told him I love a good time travel story, but it's hard sometimes when they don't make sense. Mr. K told me he hated that too, so he wrote his own! So I bought the book, he signed it for me, and I went off to knit.

The villain is horrible. She is absolutely despicable and I shudder to think there may be people like her in the world.

This is a heavy kind of story; I had to put it down often to let the events sink in, and to think about the physics and other possibilities of time travel. It was so fun!! Subtle foreshadowing added a lot of suspense and the characters' own curiosities explained every question I had. I never felt confused, even though the plot ran all over the place sometimes. Timey wimey stuff needs to make sense, not just scientifically but within the story as well. Time travel plots should veer off, loop around, and come back to some conclusion or explanation. Krygelski does this fantastically. Everything is connected eventually in a complicated but complete and comprehensible web of events.

Mr. Krygelski has one previous book, The Harvest, so I will be on the look out for it. If it is anything like Time Cursor, it will be a favorite.

P.S. Thanks again, Mr. Krygelski, I did enjoy the trip.

Your book hit my top ten list! I don’t recall reading a better book actually. Once all the formalities were in and the base was set and the book picked up tempo I could not put it down. I loved your book and I am a big fan of it. Great book. One of the things that blew me away was how intelligently everything was written and thought out and the depth and knowledge used on the subject of religion. I am definitely going to read your next book.

I found The Harvest to be one of the most thought provoking novels I have read in a long time. It was well researched as to Biblical Archealogy and Prophopecy. The principals presented make you really think about the relationship between God and Man. As a Christian that also is educated in the sceinces many of the concepts allowed for gaps to be filled. Looking forward the the next novel

John, just finished Time Cursor. Wow. I am seriously at a loss for words. While The Harvest was profound and thought provoking, Time Cursor was right up my alley. It is hard to decide which one is better because they are two very different stories, but Time Cursor....Wow. Of course I have many questions (questions I should divulge in private so as to not ruin the ending for those still reading), b...ut as it stands now I am speechless. You are an amazing storyteller and your writing is superb. I have read a great many things ranging from classic literature to Shakespeare to young adult to fantasy to science fiction, and I can honestly say you have had a resounding effect on me. Your books are amazing and I am truly thankful. I am not as well with words as you, but I hope that my words mean as much to you as yours does to me. Thank you. Now on to The Aegis Solution!!!!!!!

I finished this book this afternoon. This is John Krygelski third book. I loved this book. For anyone who believes in God, America, patriotism and conservative values, will especially enjoy this book. However, I don't want to pigeon whole this book. Anyone who likes sci-fi, medical mysteries, black ops, or human struggles in their reading will enjoy this also. If you haven't read any of John's books, you really should treat yourself. I predict this one is going to be a BIG success. John lives here in Tucson. Support the local artist. Start here. God Bless and thanks for reading.

I really enjoyed reading The Aegis Solution! Loved it, in fact. The characters were full of life, and I can see how something like this could happen. It gave me goosebumps. Now I am wanting to read your other books. I love to read and always have, but this is the first time I have read a book in over a year. I went back to college, and was working full time. I am not working now, so I actually had a “minute” to sit down with a book. I also enjoyed meeting you. Thank you for taking the time to send me an email. Good luck with all your future books!

Hi John, Your email reminded me that I did not email you about my experience with The Aegis Solution. I enjoyed it--of course! I wondered what the alternative to suicide was going to be for these folks. Would they be in suspended sleep? Would they go through intensive therapy? Alternate universes? Parallel timelines? One way in no way out. I was really painting many pictures in my head. The picture of the people waiting for the gates to open was interesting--as if it was a new mall. Knowing that once you entered you could not leave, I guess those who entered did feel there was no where else to go and no options left in life. The groupings of citizens were interesting: military structure, free from structure, and anarchy. It is true that no matter how you try to stop it people will still form up in some kind of groups on their own. Again, a fantastic read! Cover to cover I was trying to decide where you were going, and I had many roads open yet you led me down one I hadn't seen. Thanks for another fun ride. I look forward to your next literary entry! Don't make us wait too long! Your friend, Jane Stubbs

Joe rated it 4 out of 5 stars ... in the realm of time travel and the potential paradoxes inherent therein ... the plot is exciting and the action contains some unexpected twists. The ending (no spoilers) was intriguing, though, again, it felt like the characters spent too much time thinking or talking about what they were doing. Overall, though, the action, plot, and ending get it to four stars.

Jenny's review: John Augur is at his bachelor party when a man appears and proceeds to tell him that he should cancel the wedding, the one that is scheduled for tomorrow. John thinks this man is crazy until the man explains that he is him, and has come back from the future to warn him against marrying Gail, who turns crazy and does awful things to him later in their marriage. For John and Jack (the John from the future), one thing leads to another and as they are headed to the hotel to take John’s very wasted friend back when they cause an accident that kills a motorcyclist. This man turns out to be none other than Cal, the man who later in life with create the time machine that sent Jack back. John and Jack then are set in motion to try to come up with a plan to make sure the accident never happens. They are also trying to change the future that Jack knows is coming with Gail. But as things begin to spiral out of control they find that some things cannot be changed, no matter how hard you try. And they feel that something is always trying to stop their progress. Can they find a way to make the future they desire without forever harming everyone in their path? This is definitely not a type of book that I would ever read on my own. I am not usually the science fiction type, but this book really is a great one. I felt that it was well thought out and had many twists that made it suspenseful. It was interesting trying to follow the characters and what they thought would help to make sure that the time machine was created so that Jack was not stuck in the past. I also thought the added bonus of things they were trying to prevent actually happening was good too. Then the author added in some aliens, and well you know when there are aliens things get even trickier. I also liked this book because it is based in Tucson, where I live, so it was fun to read because I knew the landmarks and could really picture in my head where the characters were. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a good puzzle to solve.

You know John, it is hard for me to put into words the effect your writing has on me. I could only hope I could go too. The way you described the story from the very first page had me hook, line and sinker. You remind me of a lot of wonderful writers, who's books are in my library. I just got your book Time Cursor on sale and put on my tablet, thank you for the price reduction. Back to The Harvest, a fictional store based in reality. It is a subject that excites me, I have researched the subject of God, Buddha, heaven, hell on earth, life after death, living in the here and now etc.. since I was in my teens. I am 58 years young now and it still excites me. Once in a while I get my hands on a book I just don't want to put down. Thanks. At the same time, I feel a new way of thinking has been brought to my attention, that gives me a new way of looking at the same subject.

5.0 out of 5 stars Krygelski has another winner! The Aegis Solution is a book of many elements. The storyline is skillfully crafted and takes the reader on a journey down many different paths. Although it's tempting to reveal what those paths are, I will not ruin it for you. John has created many believable charachters that are a joy to follow through the story. His writing is very fluid and professional. From reading the back dust-jacket you think you know what to expect...and you'll be wrong. Within Aegis you'll discover a microcosm of societal life that we are experiencing today. This is a book that could be classified as adventure/thriller but that would not do it justice. It is that and more. Would this make a good movie? Absolutely!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZON REVIEW John Krygelski is an amazing talent. His ability to draw the reader in to exciting and thought provoking subjects rivals those of Michael Crichton and Robert Heinlein. His understanding of difficult topics is complete and his explanations thorough and thought provoking. The Aegis Solution, his third book, takes us on an unexpected journey into an isolated world of individuals who have given up on life and society. It is a journey of desperation punctuated by periods of confusion and excitement as the main characters seek to unravel the mysterious circumstances and sequences of events that have brought them all together. It is a tale of high espionage, genetic manipulation, societal evolution, love, and hope. It is said that we don't pick the books we read, they pick us. Let this one pick you.

i had read Time Cursor prior to this book in January and enjoyed it and wanted to grab something else from John David Krygelski. I was pleasantly surprised by the deep theological, philosophical, and scientific discourse throughout the book, it was certainly intriguing. This book will certainly get anyone thinking no matter their religious or non-religious background. I can also see how some would be 'offended' by this piece of fiction. It is certainly not a Christian book, and that should be known going into it. The author melds the majority of the world's religions excluding Islam into the god portrayed in The Harvest. If you are looking for a book that will make you think, this is a good choice.
